Drive Styles

The drive style refers to the installation tool used.  The most common are the Phillips, slotted, a combination of both (Phillips and slotted), and hex (hexagon).  Using the correct sized slotted screwdriver or hex key prevents head damage.  For hex cap screws, use a wrench made for square head bolts and screws.  Selecting an uncommon drive style will help if you are looking to prevent someone from removing the screw for security reasons.
